New player in a successful team! Bowden cable distributor for indexing plungers with remote actuation

Clever assistance for the proven indexing plungers with remote actuation from KIPP! Our new Bowden cable distributor merges three Bowden cables, enabling two plungers to be actuated in parallel via a common actuating element. Alternatively, one indexing plunger can be operated via two different Bowden cables.

Our indexing plungers prove their worth in swivel or rotary devices or for lock positioning in e.g. machine, furniture and special vehicle constructions. Using a Bowden cable, machine parts can also be positioned and locked from a distance. If the element in question is heavy, the use of two indexing plungers in combination with a Bowden cable distributor and a central operating element makes handling easier and safer.

Your advantages:

  • Numerous synergy effects: The organized interaction of three Bowden cables increases the speed and efficiency of processes and simultaneously reduces the number of components required and therefore the material costs.

  • One for all: The Bowden cable distributor is available in one size that is suitable for all travel lengths and sizes of indexing plungers with remote actuation. The required components for quick and easy installation are supplied.

  • Coordinated system: The extensive range of indexing plungers with remote actuation function from KIPP includes stainless steel plungers, Bowden cables and various accessories. All components are optimally matched to each other.

How the Bowden cable distributor works:

Three Bowden cables can be combined with the Bowden cable distributor.

For example, this permits two indexing plungers to be actuated with one actuating element.

With the reversible application option, one indexing plunger can also be actuated with two actuating elements. In this case, it is enough to pull on one of the two actuating elements to engage the indexing plunger.

Two fastening holes for countersunk screws ensure flexible installation. Mounting on a 40 mm aluminum profile using M8 slot nuts is no problem thanks to the width of the housing and the positioning of the fastening holes.
